Dr Sanjay Nijhawan Medical Director At Cannabis Access Clinics

Dr Sanjay Nijhawan is the Medical Director of Cannabis Access Clinics. Sanjay leads our team of doctors, engages with other senior clinicians, regulators and industry stakeholders. Sanjay splits his time between consulting with our patients, and ensuring we continue to uphold the highest standards of clinic governance and regulatory compliance in this new field of medicine in Australia.

Sanjay is also the Director and part owner of Specialist Medical Services, involved in the management of various private hospitals, Day Surgeries, Eye Centres and specialist clinics. Dr Nijhawan was previously the Head of Clinical Development at Primary Healthcare. Earlier in his career Dr Sanjay was medical director and practice principal at a number of general medical practices around Australia.
